Tuesday 17th February - walk *** – Arounnd Felixstowe – sunny and cold

The sleepover with Maeva went well, she sleep well but we were downstairs just after seven! Our van was booked into the garage today so I had a quick ride round Felixstowe taking a few weather photos as there was wall to wall sunshine with a brilliant blue sky and was lucky enough to get on the telly, this time ITV’s About Anglia, great to have Chris Page again and then I got the same pic on BBC,s Look East, on a roll this week:) Then back home for pancakes, Mag was making today, I had several but Maeva said no and had leftover pizza from last night!!! As the weather was so nice we decided to work down to the prom and with the breeze offshore it was quite pleasant. We were going to walk round the pier but it was still closed so we continued to the Beach Hut village playing hide and seek as we went an old time favourite! The pier just opened so we sat on a bench watching a container ship head in on the super flat sea! Then all we had to do was walk up the hill all shattered! Maeva was picked up around midday so we had lunch and walked to the clifftop with the sun now gone, through the town centre to Mary’s for a cuppa!
